I landed a 6-figure project with my dream client. I was hesitant at first, I’ve never taken on a project as big as this, but Ben and Steph were there to walk me through the process every step of the way.

I typically take on smaller projects that I can handle by myself, but this project would require me to hire a team. With the coaching I receive from Accelerator, I was able to get bids from contractors, write them into the proposal, and calculate my pricing to keep the project profit while juggling the cost to hire a team.

More importantly, it gave the confidence to shoot my shot, charge what I’m worth and land the work. The Friday coaching helped me get one on one gudance on the hiring process for contractors, while the practical project pricing spreadsheet helps me keep track of contractor costs and stay profitable... I just did my first client outreach today, and just a few hours later, I’ve already scheduled a meeting with a potential client! I recently solidified a $90k+ annual contract with a client for web strategy, development, and maintenance services. With the ability to ask questions from experienced creatives in my field and be guided on a structured path, I was able to improve my focus and move my business forward at a faster pace. This was the biggest job closed to date. The ability to follow the course at my own pace has allowed me to build the personal lifestyle I desire while enjoying growth in my business when needed. Access to the community alone has been a fantastic resource for partnerships, accountability partners, and support. This has been the best investment I have purchased in years!

I was able to connect to one of my favourite athletes and offered her a free design work (promo poster). She gladly accepted the offer and few days ago I delivered the final design which she loved and promised to share on her socials.

I became a member because I realized I didn't know how to build up my business and escape the rat race. In the last year, and a half (almost), I managed to quit my other two jobs, and live only from my own agency and my small team. I doubled my last year's revenue, proving to myself that my work has value, and that I am capable of so much more than I ever imagined. I also paid off almost all of my debt caused by a past bankruptcy. I am stepping into this year with enthusiasm and some awesome new ideas. Landed three paid, real projects after not having a client for 12 months. Accelerator gets us back to basics and has actionable processes that move the needle in a business. We're not just posting something on Instagram and waiting for people to come to us. Accelerator put me back in control of the business. After 8 years of trying and failing to go full-time with my business, Accelerator gave me the tools, confidence, and community to make it a reality. Granted I was let go from my job so I was kind of forced into full-time, but I was literally 1 day away from putting in my 2 weeks' notice. I recently got a referral from someone in my Power 150 network. The referral turned into a $500/mo advertising management retainer and we're in discussion about creating a new website as well! When I joined, I struggled with pricing – I was priced way low for what I do, and learned that this may actually be hindering my sales because low price can be perceived as low value too. I do great work, and the Accelerator mentors helped me recognize the value of my work!.. It's truly a great community, and having access to 2 great mentors (Ben and Stephanie) with such substantial experience and expertise is amazing!

This afternoon, right before jumping on the weekly call, I received an email confirming a job I made a proposal for was going ahead. This job is the result of cold outreach to a Toronto-based advertising agency I reached out to 3 or so months ago. I had coffee with one of the co-founders and I've kept in touch since. It's a four-figure job, my biggest portrait project to date. Every now and then, I wonder if all the work and steps Steph & Ben make you do is worth it. But it is. So trust in the process.

I joined Accelerator to grow my Video Production business. I felt stuck at the time between running my own business, and working in a job that I absolutely despised. Coming from the video world, I don't have a ton of experience as far as graphic design goes. But recently, because of Accelerator, I was able to put together a capabilities deck. This was huge because it enabled me to learn something that benefitted not only my business but personal growth as well. Accelerator helped empower me to do this, through the help of Ben and Stephanie and the community that is a part of Accelerator. Getting feedback, asking questions, and showing up to Friday calls were essential for me to learn and get out of my shell and accomplish something that wouldn't have been possible otherwise... I recently started a cold email outreach campaign through module 4 in Accelerator. One of my passions is filming live music, On my second day of outreach, I was told I made the list to to film a music festival that always books some of my favorite bands! I still can't believe it, and it wouldn't have been possible without being in Accelerator! Accelerator helped me develop a capabilities deck and, more importantly, confidence to be able to reach out to potential clients/collaborators/competitors instead of just relying on word of mouth like I'd been doing previously I haven't recieved the details yet, but even if it wasn't paid, this gets me major exposure and legitamacy. It's just the best thing I've ever invested in, hands down. Helped not only my business but me personally. Can't thank Steph, Ben, and Lisa enough!

Before joining, I was stuck and floundering, focusing on tasks that kept me busy but didn't move me forward. I was scared of the next steps because I knew I had a huge gap in my knowledge of how to effectively run my business. My goal was to find a guided and supported roadmap. I'm not afraid to do the hard work, but I was afraid to do it alone. My win has been just the constant smoothing of the rough edges of my business. I'm building new processes that I have not had before, like an organized approach to cold outreach, and a ever growing list of potential clients, making tweaks to my capabilities deck that were much needed, and defining my service... Accelerator has ignited the fire for me to hold myself accountable to put in the work and make the necessary adjustments, while the incredible wisdom and guidance of Ben and Steph has seriously been invaluable. Their sincerity and true experience comes through naturally and makes me feel like they actually care about my success and the success of all who are in the program. The material and exercises are challenging which is pushing me to really grapple with my dreams and figure this shit out! I literally got my first paycheck as a brand strategist... Learning about outreach and lead-gen has been one of the most insightful and transformative forces in my business. Marketing myself was completely opaque to me. Accelerator unlocked this critically important tool and I've gotten to see behind the curtain — It's embarrassing to say, but I had no idea how vital it was for survival. I received the industry rate from a self publishing author, which is rare in this current market. Best mentorship program I've ever joined.

I wanted to have a community of like-minded designers who are also building a business for themselves. I also needed the structure the program provides and the knowledge shared. My progress? I gained clarity into the types of projects I want to pursue, I have a clear list of dream clients that I'm actively pitching my work to, and I feel confident about my work and know how to talk about it to potential clients. What helped the most? All the videos, the community and the coaching calls.

Besides joining a community of creatives that are in the same place I am, Accelerator has helped me clearly articulate my business's offer, as well as given me the tools to start my business with an extremely firm foundation. I know that I'm getting off on the right foot from the very beginning, and I won't have to do any reorganization of my business for many, many years. Not only do we have some amazing coaches, but the community is active and highly interactive. We also have checkpoints to check that A) you actually do the work, and B) your work is showcase quality and will get clients knocking down your door to work with you. Before accelerator, a $10k job was a pipe dream. Now, my minimum level of engagement comes in at $15k. Accelerator is in it for you, not your money.

I've been building websites for 20 years. I've run Snap Creative for 15 years without a genuine pathway to success, and 3 of those trying to figure out what I was supposed to be building to no avail... I cannot remember where I've been more focused AND more in tune with who I am and what I'm doing in this as a creative. This community has opened my mind in ways I never thought possible. Because of it, I better understand what I am doing and remember why I started my business in the first place... I wanted a programme with business excellence, but also some defined structure. Just playing through videos isn't enough. I needed the tasks of creating the assets myself, no matter how painful! I've been able to better formalise my business, offer professionally structured services rather than just being the person that does the job. Being a jack-of-all trades, it's been really helpful to better define what I can do and apply pricing to that. The best part has been the structured lessons and weekly calls. The community is also really helpful too. Great program and an even better group of people!

I was working as a full-time designer for the last 7 years. And I was dreaming about having "something" on my own... maybe a small studio? I was ready for a leap - to go full time freelancing. One day I woke up, decided - today is the day - and I joined the program. Then two months later, haha, I woke up and decided - today is the day - and gave my 2 weeks notice that I'm leaving the company I was working for.I have had a hundred small wins :) Do you actually know how amazing are the people in the community? I have made friendships that will be for a lifetime. I have connected with the most amazing people ever! Not that I have been feeling lonely, but yes, I have discovered that I actually like to have people in my life :D And thanx to the community, I feel like I finally have found "my gang." How amazing is that?As for "aha!" moments - I do have them often :D Again, I had no a clue how to actually build a creative business. I have learned so much! From cold outreach strategies, to pricing my work and creating a proposal, to what kind of content the clients are looking for in my website. These are all the things nobody taught me in the design school. I'm in Module 7 now, and the course content has been great. Templates are THE life savers.As for personal growth - enormous! My mindset has completely changed since I started the program. I found myself doing things I never ever imagined I would be capable of doing.And, yes, there were a few "professional/ financial" wins :) I got few projects from my Power 150. Because I went the extra mile. Invited people for lunch. Showed appreciation to my past clients. Gifted tickets to events to my potential collaborators. What really makes this different from other programs, courses and content out there - is the accountability. You can't unlock the next Module before you have your "homework" done. I mean, I have binge-watched courses before. Have I applied what I learned in practice? No, not really. But here, I have. I found myself standing by the post box, trying to take a weird-angle photo to prove I did my alternative outreach. Hahaha, fun times. I'm just really grateful to be a part of this:) Fingers crossed that this year will be an epic one!

I was a graphic designer taking orders without any room for creativity. Now, I am focusing on being a more valuable desiner, doing great work with stronger concepts. My mindset changed. I learned how to organize time, to be a professional freelancer, to speak with clients, and gain their trust. I joined to build a sustainable business. What progress have I made? Understanding the importance of the business part of our work, but also being true to your roots and doing what you like. The coaching calls are always helpful even If I'm not facing the same problems with the person asking. I think the best moment for me was when Steph told me that I can work however makes me happy. That really stuck with me.

We recently closed a 70k retainer with one of Europe's biggest insurance companies, our biggest client to date. The lessons on proposals, deliverables and project process templates were all really useful to get a "big picture" of how a complete project should look like working for a big client... Amazing community, amazing insights and super valuable assets.

Having the guidance, the direction, and on my part committing to the work, allowed me to find my joy! The case studies were challenging, but having Ben and Stephanie, I felt accountable to make sure I completed the work. I felt my work has grown, and a lot of it was because of the Accelerator program... Accelerator has provided me clarity, that I was able to walk away from jobs that didn't fit my joy. I just signed a contract with a new client that I acquired from cold email outreach. Yew! Accelerator helped me do this by teaching me how to create a vital networking and outreach system. I've never done cold email outreach, but by being persistent and following the team's guidance, I was able to land a local client with big potential over time. The project is only $2.5K, but I feel like this is the foot-in-the-door with a young company that has huge growth potential. Accelerator has been brilliant. It has reinforced the skills and beliefs I already had and filled in the areas of my business that needed to be leveled up. In our books this is an incredible win, as we were asked to do custom art & design as well as the production (which combines our absolute passion of design with a good business deal that will help generate stable income for the foreseeable future). I booked a client off a referral from someone I did a free discovery call/website audit for (expecting nothing to come from it, I just wanted to help them out). The power of serving others! The Accelerator program gave me the knowledge and confidence to reach out to the initial person, whom I saw could benefit from my insight. I landed a $2,250 project, a big win given that this was my 4th ever client! The Accelerator team and community is the greatest thing since (and including) sliced bread. I would name my firstborn Accel if I could.

Before joining, I left my corporate position because I was tired of the toxic environment and creating projects that didn't give me satisfaction. I wanted to work on my own terms. I have completed a project that I had only dreamed of before, for one of my favorite UFC fighters. I have created a website, I have contracts, I have started networking seriously. I have understood what I want to do (at least for the next year). What helped me the most was the course content and templates. I got my first client, who signed for a web design service and that wouldn´t be possible without Accelerator. The capabilities deck and the perfect proposal helped me to express my expertise and to land the client... I earned a 1500€ fee and 95€ monthly payment. It´s amazing how Ben and Stephanie teach people to build their creative business. Without their work I couldn´t have landed my first client that fast.

I have gotten feedback on my case study and I'm continuing to make forward progress through lead generation and outreach. After spending many years as a corporate designer, it was not an easy task for me to figure out my way forward as a solopeneur. I signed up to change my financial situation. I was (and still am) working at a very demanding full time job that wasn't making ends meet, and I decided I wanted to start my own business. Being in this course has forced me to be more responsible. Yes, I slip up here and there, but overall, there has been an improvement. I think the action items have been very valuable to me. I wouldn't be surprised if I never ended up doing any of the tasks I was able to complete in this course if there weren't action items. I did appreciate getting accommodated (for the most part) schedule wise, and getting some personalized attention from Ben and Steph on a Friday coaching call. I also find that they provide a fair amount of interaction with me on the forums. I view them as coaches and their input as professionals is important to me. I appreciate their getting into the trenches (in a way) with me.

I've learned so much from both the coaches and the community. They share knowledge that helped me go far and beyond what I could with self-study.

I got a client from the community job board worth $3,000... I love the coaching I am receiving and I love that there is a structured programme to put the chaos of running a creative business in order. It finally feels like I'm on the right track.

I am on a journey to get the best out of myself. Before joining, I would be so scared to raise my prices and would have continued to price my work below average. I now understand that ultimately it's my responsibility to deliver the work and it's my decision to set my own prices. Coaching! The course is very helpful but speaking to our mentors and asking questions related to clients and even course material is the true value for me. I love the community. Months before joining, I was struggling to figure out what to do next with my life after I lost my job. The only thing I know was I don’t wanna get stuck again in another job which I will resent, so I decided to join Accelerator and I think it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. The program is very well-curated and I was able to set & prioritize my goals. Stephanie's Creative Cocktail has unlocked so many different opportunities which are tailored to my dream projects & personal interests. There’s also an endless range of support from a community of fellow creatives who have been very helpful. I am just 2 weeks in and I was able to figure out a signature aesthetic style that I would like to develop and be known for. I was able also to publish my first ever creative piece... I know there’s still a long way to go but I am proud of what I have achieved so far.

I landed a $15k branding and packaging design project! No negotiation required, the client simply accepted my proposal and deposited the first set of payments for me to start his project. With everything I’m learning on here... and all you amazing people, I was able to own the Discovery Call with a client who reached out for some packaging design and a logo... This is huge for me because I only have jobby job experience. I’ve never landed a client myself, this is unbelievable to me and I’m so grateful to the A-Team and the future of my own design business!.. Love this community, not only am I learning how to build a solid design business and support on how to deal with the client side but the people here are so warm. Everyone from Stephanie and Ben to Lisa and the Accelerator moderators and the community are always so helpful. I love that we get to share our designs with each other and get such great feedback to help us all become stronger designers, creatives and entrepreneurs. Everyone is happy for each other and roots each other on, there's no competition here. It's a wonderful community to be a part of.

When I saw the program and joined one your streams I couldn't be happier. I needed guidance to focus my efforts more efficiently, I was spending a lot of energy on many different venues to get better clients but wasn't getting results. I'm still working on my outreach skills but I feel more confident in my work, and I have a much better picture of how creatives do business in a profitable way. What I found here was a supportive community filled with hard-working artists just like me; here, I feel like I'm not alone in this process, Ben and Stephanie have turned this program into a big family where good advice and inspiration abound. I closed three new client projects in three days. I was able to clearly present my previous work through the capabilities deck... I was able to find collaborators who were the perfect fit for these projects... one of the clients was actually a contact I made through the Accelerator community.Two out of these three are $6k projects. My previous highest project was just slightly below that, but for greater scope of work. I am greteful for Steph and Ben and the entire community. I booked 2 photo shoots with a new client that connected through cold email. The capabilities deck was a great help, but the cold email process... made it very achievable and organized. I closed a 8K job. I am enjoying all the learning and organization Accelerator is providing, so many gold nuggets of information that can be easily applied to my company and I can see a tangible benefit from them. I am excited to keep going and improve my business.

Over the last few months, I've had the distinct pleasure of collaborating with an Accelerator member named Saral.

Some time ago, I was deciding whether to teach myself Webflow so I could add web design to my list of branding services. I asked the Accelerator group for advice and Saral reached out and offered an absolutely stellar response.It was at that point, I decided I should not become a Webflow developer, because I was never going to be able to have the focus, care, and talent of someone like Saral. But I could still charge for web services, and simply hire out the development, bringing in expertise and providing my clients with the best. So I immediately reached out to Saral and started an incredible working relationship on a few projects. Check out this site here.

It was through this process I realized the value of someone freely sharing their expertise with others. He wasn’t trying to convince me to hire him. On the contrary he was trying to help me do it on my own. But in displaying his knowledge it led to a display of trust which ultimately led to what I hope is a long working relationship.

The Accelerator program is filled with countless individuals that are always encouraging and lifting each other up. Sometimes they become wind in your sails, offering advice to help you take that next step as an entrepreneur… and sometimes, they can become the sails themselves, joining alongside as a collaborator in the work self.

Ben and Stephanie are always pushing us to understand our strengths and double down on what we do best. And the beautiful thing about this group is that it’s an enormous talent pool of creatives that are like-minded, skilled, and diverse, offering just about every creative service imaginable...

Last week, one of my clients referred me to a friend, and two other clients entrusted me with new projects. I'm now juggling multiple projects. The course really taught me how to be more intentional in networking and nurturing relationship with my clients. And just having clarity in what my goals are and what I have to do to reach them...  I am slowly increasing my monthly earnings from continuous projects. The Accelerator course really helped me to have a clearer goal and to have a roadmap to that goal. I'm spending less time overthinking and am focus on my work. Steph and Ben are the best coaches!

When I started, the goal was to better my business within a year, a long time in my eyes but worth it. Little did I know that the energy of a dynamic group of creatives would propel me to milestones I've only dreamt of. I have applied for a speaking role at a premier national design conference and landed my first 5-figure client. Within two months, my whole perspective has changed, and I'm not even halfway through this program. It's great sharing this with people who want each other to succeed! I'm so glad I’ve invested in myself and my business. The community is incredible, and being global, someone is always up and helping, but Ben and Stephanie make the sessions welcoming and productive. It's so great sometimes you show up just to be on the call... the atmosphere just makes you want to jump in!

Someone I had previously introduced myself and my services contacted me to be the person to create the artwork for their band's upcoming album. He said as soon as he saw my work, he knew he wanted to work with me when the time came! Accelerator helped me create an outreach plan that enabled me to connect with people I want to work with. Also, Accelerator has helped me build tools that help me showcase my work in the best way possible! The monetary gain from this win is $500. While not large amount, the project is a great way to get my work to be seen by other potential clients as well as a pure joy to work on. The community has been extremely helpful as well as fun to be a part of. As someone who works by myself, it's nice to have a community of great people that I can rely on for support or if I just need some good people to talk to!

I was laid off from my cooshy Art Director job of 3 years. While I retained that company as a client, my income dropped considerably and the work became somewhat inconsistent. I had two weeks with no projects which meant no income. I had been eyeing the Accelerator since its launch and figured now was a better time than any to try and take control of my income and reach my goal of not having to abide by a boss ever again. I've freelanced before but did really poorly because I had no idea what I was doing and had no real concrete plans to follow. I took a different course maybe 6-7 years ago that really just was not it – it wanted us to become "design influencers" and the coach of the program was essentially just trying to make little clones of himself. I didn't feel like my personality or communication style worked with his teachings. This actually stuck with me and made me feel like I couldn't be a successful freelancer if I couldn't follow the "entrepreneur bro" footprint. Even the small interactions I've had in this program have really helped me feel like this is actually something I can do, and the information is so detailed and good at answering questions before I ask them that I only feel eager to keep going. The confidence of knowing I'm getting an incredibly detailed blueprint to follow is so helpful. I'm the type of person that needs things really spelled out for me. I also love that if I feel insecure or anxious about something, I have the opportunity to ask Ben and Stephanie directly about my concerns.

I've recently landed two jobs! Ranging from visual identity design to website design and development. I don't know what I would have done without Stephanie and Ben's support. Their help with everything from handling sales calls to contracts and proposals was what made all the difference. Thanks to them, I was able to secure not just one, but two jobs!! Knowing that I can rely on them and the wonderful Accelerator community whenever I need, is incredibly reassuring and invaluable. I closed two jobs within two weeks, $5k and $7.5k!! Huge! Something unexpected about joining the course has been the incredible community. It's been so wonderful connecting with creatives, making friends and even getting work opportunities.

I had been freelancing for many years, just taking projects when I could, but never feeling really established in my work. So far, it has mostly been my mindset that has changed. Part of that has developed through the valuable content and the conversations within the community. What has helped most? The structure through the course content and the templates. The feedback from the community has also given me confidence in my work. The two together have been incredibly valuable.

Thanks to your tips, I've already set up meetings with Xbox, PlayStation, and other major esports/gaming companies at the beginning of 2024. By continuing to follow your advice, 2024 should be the year I’ll achieve financial freedom. It has allowed me to secure projects, strengthen my business and develop my communication skills to make progress toward my objectives.
